ONN To Offer Workshop On Bill 168 Requirements

June 25, 2010

On July 5th, ONN will be offering a workshop to help nonprofits understand and meet their compliance requirements under Bill 168.

Dear Network Colleague,

ONN is delighted to invite you to a special workshop on Bill 168, a new legislation with compliance requirements for all nonprofits in Ontario.

Are you aware that as of this month workplaces in Ontario (including nonprofits) will be required to have policies and programs in place targeted at the prevention of violence and harassment in the workplace? Is your organization compliant? Do you know what you need to know? Have you developed policies? Don’t know where to start?

On July 5th, ONN will be offering a workshop to help nonprofits understand and meet their compliance requirements under Bill 168. We have a limited number of seats available for and we'd like to extend an "early bird" invitation to umbrella groups such as yours, with the hope that you will share this important information with your colleagues.

ONN has invited Amanda Hudson, a certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), working with the HR Council, to share information about this new legislation, its impact on nonprofits, as well as tools and resources to help your organization implement effective and required policies and practices.

Bring your questions, comments and concerns. For more information and to register, visit: guestlistapp.com/events/24780

Sincerely,

Constance Exley, Director
