The Ontario Business Education Partnership (OBEP) offers connections where early stage career discovery is translated into long term economic viability. 

Established in 1999 with a mandate to be an action orientated organization that operates as the centralized focal point between business and education the Ontario Business Education Partnership has a proven track record of providing exceptional support, connectivity and results to the education and business communities.  With a focus on developing, implementing and supporting community based partnerships supporting education and future workforce development. 

OBEP is a member based non profit organization that facilitates relationships between twenty-six Business Education Councils, Industry Education Councils and Local Training Boards across Ontario. 

We work with key decision makers from business, education, government and leading associations to inform policy and program directions; act as a conduit between government and our member communities to ensure effective stakeholder communication and strong working relationships and; support member communities in the delivery of programs and services.

In 2010, OBEP is focusing on:
  • Enhanced industry partnership initiatives
     
  • Ongoing strategic support of community-based experiential learning opportunities through Passport to Prosperity
     
  • New advocacy programs on key experiential learning and workforce development issues
     
  • Ongoing strategic support of educators incorporating experiential learning into the primary and secondary curriculum across the province
     
  • Support of the growth of the Employerrregistry.ca
